Job Purpose
Effect cost efficient and timely procurement of all Brands’ requirements
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the effective management and control of all procurement activities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies
- Ensure good and efficient support is provided for the different brands’ operations and purchasing requirements
- Regularly and proactively source for new F&B suppliers for better quality products, payment terms and price
- Ensure overall quality & quantity management of stock, cost, product ranges, stock rotation, turnover, regulatory & compliances.
- Work with Operations Director and Business Managers, Logistics, Marketing and Product Development teams to do demand planning and ordering of inventory for various brands
- Build rapport with suppliers and consistently monitor their performance
Job Requirement
- Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain or its equivalent
- At least 3 years relevant work experience, preferably in the F&B industry
- Strong sourcing and negotiation skills
- Systematic and process driven
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work well with people at all levels
- Able to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
- Good knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong supplier contacts within the industry would be a plus
- Bilingualism is preferred (English and Chinese) (Effectively bilingual in both English and Mandarin in order to communicate with Chinese speaking Operations Director and Business Managers, Logistics, Marketing and Product Development teams to do demand planning and ordering of inventory for various brands)
