Network Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

Operations & Maintenance Management

1. Data Center consolidation and Desktop virtualization (Premises or Cloud based)
2. Plan, coordinate and manage the computer equipment acquisition (include ask quotation from vendor), installation, maintenance and retirement.
3. Cooperate with vendor, to install, setup and maintain network equipment, security infrastructure such as firewall, e-mail security equipment and computer hardware, system software, perform backup/recovery
4. Provide operations support, work with security operation centers staff to provide increase security and rapid response.
5. Plan, develop, document and execute regular preventive maintenance roadmap
6. Plan system resources to meet operating environment and to satisfy applications and business needs.
7. Recommend infrastructure upgrades for optimal performance to the management

Security Management

Provide a single-point of contact and an effective interface for users on Security best practices Implement and maintain security patches and network vulnerabilities.

Network Management

Define network Policy and procedures for remote and wireless systems.

Systems Management

1. Set up and configure servers, virtual machines, hardware and maintaining internal and outsource operating environments (Windows and Linux)
2. Manage on-premises and cloud storage systems.
3. Investigate and solve problems related to business applications system
4. Deploy of system application to staging or production environment.
5. Computer operations requirements, perform system administration tasks
6. Initiate, plan and implement phasing out of systems software
7. Providing training and support.
8. Documenting all reported malfunctions and actions taken in response.

Job Requirement:

– Degree in Computer Science/ IT or related fields

– 3 years of relevant working experience in related field

– Candidate with more experience can be considered for senior position.
