Job Description:

• Conduct discovery and ideation workshops to elicit problem statements and facilitate ideation
• Research – user and market research to validate new ideas and existing POC’s
• Work closely with the Product Owners, and client facing teams to observe needs and identify opportunities to enhance our current UX and identify new opportunities for innovation
• Conduct on-site and remote user testing for all stages of the design process
• Produce low and high resolution mock-ups and clickable POC’s when needed
• Attend innovation and design sprints with the relevant product development teams

Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in a related field (Not mandatory)
• Extensive experience in a UX/ UI Design role in an innovation focused enterprise
• Extensive experience with Design Thinking methodologies/ Frameworks (EG: IDEO or LUMA Institute)
• Design Thinking certification from a recognised institute would be a value add but not mandatory
• Extensive experience using a Digital Product Design suite such as Invision or Sketch for mock-ups and user flows
• Experience conducting user and market research relative to new digital products
• Excellent verbal and written communication

Additional Desirable Skills

• Experience with web development and mobile application
• Experience with basic analytics for presentation user segmentation and behavioural metrics
• Familiarity with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator or XD)
• Existing portfolio of work (Personal or Professional)
